Monday, September 7, 2026 - Sabrina Carpenter and Bad Bunny have added major television honors to their growing careers, with both artists collecting their first Emmy Awards at the 2026 Creative Arts Emmys in Los Angeles.
Carpenter won as a performer and executive producer of Disney+’s The Muppet Show, which took home Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded).
Bad Bunny delivered the bigger sweep, as the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show earned seven Emmy wins, including Outstanding Variety Special (Live), music direction, choreography, sound mixing, lighting design, technical direction/camerawork and directing.
The seven awards made the performance the most-decorated Super Bowl halftime show at the Emmys.
The wins signal a powerful expansion beyond music for two of the entertainment industry's biggest current names. Carpenter is now halfway toward the coveted EGOT after adding an Emmy to her existing Grammy wins, while Bad Bunny has strengthened his position as a crossover global entertainer.
With the main Primetime Emmy ceremony still scheduled for September 14, their victories are already among the biggest entertainment stories of the week.
